Every family is like a tree.

Growing or struggling to.
Rooted or still searching for the right ground.
Bearing fruit or quietly gathering strength for what's next.

Wherever your tree is right now, you're in the right place.

First, Oak & Iron is for every kind of family.

We are here for anyone who carries a story, bears responsibility, or loves enough to plan ahead...

You belong here if you are:

  • Rooted in a long-standing family line or planting new roots of your own.

  • A couple forging strength into your future.

  • A single or divorced individual shaping clarity for the people who depend on you.

  • A parent or grandparent stewarding the next generation.

  • A loved one navigating grief, rebuilding, or beginning again.

  • Someone whose “family” is made of friends, community, or a chosen circle.

If you desire to live intentionally, care for the people you call yours, and leave a legacy that endures, you are who we serve

We're Dan and Erin. A professional coach and an estate planning attorney who have sat with families at some of the most significant moments of their lives: signing a will for the first time, navigating a parent's decline, waking up one day and realizing the kids are growing fast and nobody ever handed you a map.

What we've found, over and over, is that most families aren't lacking love or intention. They're lacking a trusted place to stop, get their bearings, and find the right next step.

That's what Oak & Iron is. Not a program to join or a course to complete. A home base. A place where we can help you see your family's season clearly and point you toward the people, conversations, and resources most appropriate for your family’s next step of growth.

And so, what season is your family in?

Take a look at the three below and see which one feels most like where you are right now.

I’m preparing the ground.

You may not have a spouse or children yet, but you're already thinking about the future with intention. You're building financial stability, setting up your first home, investing in the relationships around you. You know the life you want to live and you're laying the groundwork now rather than scrambling later.

Some of the most important root work happens before a family forms: in the values you're clarifying, the habits you're building, the community you're choosing to plant yourself near.

We're putting down roots.

You're building a young family and something has started to shift. Maybe it was drafting a will. Maybe it was a late-night conversation with your spouse. Maybe it's just a quiet sense that life is moving fast and you want to be more awake to it.

You're asking good questions — about your family's values, your rhythms, who you're raising your kids to become. You're not in crisis. You're waking up. And that's exactly the right moment to start.

We're in full growth (and full pressure).

Your family is in full swing and so is everything around it. Kids launching. Grandkids arriving. Parents aging. A career beginning to shift. You're the generation holding it all together right now. And you feel it.

This is a season that deserves more than just endurance. There's real fruit to be borne here, real legacy being shaped right now in how you show up for the people on every side of you. We'd love to help you navigate it with more intention and a little less alone.

We're in the harvest season.

Something has brought you here: a loss, a diagnosis, a growing awareness that time is moving and there are things that need attending to. Or maybe it's quieter than that: a sense that this season of life, if you let it, could be the most meaningful one yet.

Either way, we're glad you're here. We have resources to help you navigate end-of-life matters practically and thoughtfully. We know providers who are genuinely good at walking families through hard seasons. And we're always willing to simply talk.

Not sure which season you're in?

That's okay too. Start by reaching out. We'll help you find your footing.

Oak & Iron exists for families who want to live with more intention.
Not because they have it all figured out, but because they've decided it matters enough to try.
We're glad you're here.
