Strength for today.
Legacy for tomorrow.
We come alongside individuals and families providing a place to thoughtfully prepare your people for life’s changing seasons, so your intended legacy of love endures tomorrow.
We are here for anyone who carries a story, bears responsibility, or loves enough to plan ahead.
You belong here if you are:
Rooted in a long-standing family line or planting new roots of your own.
A couple forging strength into your future.
A single or divorced individual shaping clarity for the people who depend on you.
A parent or grandparent stewarding the next generation.
A loved one navigating grief, rebuilding, or beginning again.
Someone whose “family” is made of friends, community, or a chosen circle.
If you desire to live intentionally, care for the people you call yours, and leave a legacy that endures, you are who we serve.
And who are we?
Husband & wife. Life coach & family estate attorney. Dan & Erin Johnson.
Together, we’ve owned and operated Erin Johnson Legal, a boutique estate planning & probate law practice located in Carmel, Indiana since the birth of our first-born daughter in 2017.
Since then, while raising children and growing a small business, Erin has provided legal counsel to clients experiencing nearly every possible life & family transition locally, and Dan has provided mental wellness coaching to clients from coast to coast and beyond.
We’ve learned how much of a joy it is to work together as a family serving families. As we journey with others, we learn and grow together.
It’s a blessing and Oak & Iron Family is how we seek to more intentionally, holistically support the strengthening of families, after the ink dries on their Wills, to live fulfilling lives while prepared for life’s hardest transitions.
We have come to believe that strong families are families who:
Plan for the inevitable;
Discuss the hard topics of life together;
Own their individual and shared stories; and
Steward the stories of those who’ve gone before them.
We long to be that kind of strong family, and we seek to support others on the same journey. Specifically, that looks like curating resources and creating offerings with the aim of:
Preparing for the Future;
Building Family Rhythms;
Caring for Aging Loved Ones; and
Walking Through Grief & Loss.
